Crack That Wall

Crack That Wall

Hi, let’s talk about your journey to something amazing. I mean, those big dreams of yours. Those ones that feel like you’re staring up at a massive wall. We’ve all been there, standing at the bottom, thinking “How am I ever going to get past this?” Whether it’s learning to code, trying digital marketing, or taking on any new skill, that wall can look pretty intimidating at first.

I’ve been reading this fantastic book, “The Mountain Is You” by Brianna Wiest, and it got me thinking about how we often build these walls higher in our minds than they really are. I mean when we tell ourselves stories like “I’m not smart enough” or “It’s too late to start now.” Sound familiar?

Heartbreakingly that wall isn’t one solid piece. It’s more like a stack of blocks, and you don’t have to move them all at once. Think about learning something new like building a puzzle. You wouldn’t try to put all the pieces together in one go, right? You’d start with one corner, then another, slowly making sense of the bigger picture.

Let me share something funny with you, we humans we’re really good at coming up with excuses. “I’m too busy” (aren’t we all?), “I’ll start next month” (sure you will!), or my personal favorite, “I’m just not cut out for this.” These excuses feel so real in the moment, don’t they? But here’s what Wiest helped me realize these are just our fears dancing legwork as rational thoughts.

Want to know a secret? That resistance you feel when starting something new, that voice saying “this is too hard” or “I can’t do this” is actually a pretty good compass. Usually, when something feels a bit scary or uncomfortable, it’s pointing straight at where we need to go for growth.
So, how about we tackle this wall together? Start super small like, ridiculously small. Can’t face an hour of learning? Start with 10 minutes. Seriously, just 10 minutes. It’s like taking one tiny brick out of that wall. Before you know it, you’ll look back and wonder where half the wall went!

Every time you knock out one of those bricks, you’re not just learning a skill. You’re proving to yourself that you can get things regardless of how hard. Know this, You don’t have to be perfect at this. Nobody is! Those moments when you’re stuck, confused, or feeling like you’re not getting anywhere? They’re not signs you’re failing – they’re just part of the story. They’re the parts that make the breakthrough moments feel so good.

Are you ready to start working on that wall? Remember, you don’t need a bomb or a wrecking ball. Just start with one brick. Then another. AQskill would help you learn seamlessly.

The wall shouldn’t scare you, let’s crack it together!
